THE STORY OF LITTLE MAGPIE

it's short and simple... flashback to 1991:

I began my career as a successful entrepreneur, operating the highest grossing lemonade stand our neighborhood had ever seen.

(sales were attributed to my adorable personality and genius fashion sense, see photo…) extra special how I paired that floral spandex outfit with a visor and hair bows!

fast forward to december of 2013:

after 7 years in the retail industry, most of them spent dreaming of opening a baby store, my precious husband Will and mentor Beth challenged me to make it happen!

with one main goal in mind to serve our community, by providing an edited collection of the best baby and children's items on the market, we opened a treasure of a shoppe in our darling hometown of nashville, tennessee!

we stay incredibly inspired by our daughter molly, and nieces mamie, eliza, birdie and annie, and ALL the families that fill our shoppe with giggles, laughter and smiles each week! we became SO deeply inspired, that June 16th of 2016 we opened our second location, magpies girl: a shoppe for girls ages 6-14... it's literally a dreamland of clothing, gifts, jewelry and more delivered in the same upbeat style you're used to, but just for girls! And in the Fall of 2021 we reached beyond the city of nashville, and opened our first magpies franchise location in mt. juliet, tennessee. AND this Fall, we are excited to reach across state lines and open another location in paducah, kentucky!

ultimately, we want our magpies shoppes to be spaces where everyone can enjoy all of the things their growing families need most, in an environment centered on happiness, integrity and FUN!
